Church Ministries

Church ministry is the organized and structured activities and services within a church community that aim to fulfill the church’s purpose, encourage spiritual growth, serve others, and build a strong and united congregation. The religious ministry includes a lot of different ministry work and offices, each of which is responsible for a different part of church life and outreach. Ministry calling is seen as a sacred and spiritual experience, and it guides people to spend their lives helping God and others through their unique gifts and skills.

Men's Ministry

Dennis Klinedinst

My name is Dennis K. Klinedinst, and I serve as the Men’s Ministry Associate Director at Santa Clarita Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church. In an effort to to contribute to to the Seventh-day Adventist I WILL GO strategy plan, 2025 to 2030, I am committing to helping others by adopting the Local Church Members strategy plan.  This includes taking personal responsibility for the mission of the Church and being actively involved in playing a part to reach the world for Christ. I believe in personal spiritual growth and building each other up, which is accomplished by creating a safe environment for our Men’s Ministry, offering ideas on how to work on DIY projects around the house, hikes, outings, and meals together.  In other words, men being men. In addition to co-leading the Men’s Ministry, I work in the AV Department for our weekly Sabbath services, VBS production, Memorial services, and holiday events.

Women's Ministry

Women’s Ministry is a dedicated effort within our church to encourage, and equip women their faith journey. It provides a space for women to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and serve others—all while addressing the unique challenges and opportunities women face in different seasons of life and to glorify God by helping women know Christ more deeply, love others well, and impact the world around them for the Gospel.

Key Aspects of Women’s Ministry:

Spiritual Growth – Through Bible studies, prayer groups, and retreats, our Women’s Ministry helps women deepen their relationship with God and apply Scripture to everyday life.

Fellowship & Community – Women’s ministry fosters connections through small groups, mentoring relationships, and social events, creating a supportive environment where women feel known and valued.

Discipleship & Mentoring – Older women are encouraged to invest in younger women (Titus 2:3-5), offering guidance on faith, family, work, and personal struggles.

Service & Outreach – Women’s Ministries organize service projects, mission trips, or local outreach initiatives, helping women live out their faith in practical ways.

Encouragement in Life’s Seasons – Whether single, married, a mother, an empty-nester, or a widow, Women’s Ministry seeks to meet women where they are with relevant biblical teaching and support
